These are the 2009 Projects currently underway. More updates will be posted as soon as they develop.

Music inspired by the Royal Observatory at Greenwich.

The 10 tracks are all written and ready to be mastered. At present the CD is on-hold as we try and identify sales outlets. The Observatory itself cannot play CD's and is therefore reluctant to purchase any. We will look at options with the Tourist Board and the possibilities of linking the work with other major observatories at Edinburgh or Jodrell Bank. Given the work put in this is somewhat frustrating, but one always has to remain optimistic.

Music inspired by the Coast to Coast Challenge

I am taking part in the 140-mile cycle ride during June. About 50 people are in the group and it promises to be a lot of fun and a real challenge. The coordinator of the event and very old friend, Jon Mason, asked if I would try and write a theme for the C2C. I was inspired enough to write 4 pieces that describe the rhythm of bike riding, the gruelling hill climb and the joy of achieving our aim. After completion we will approach the C2C site and Sustrans to get feedback on whether we could commercialise the project.
